Dr. Amy Ruksznis founded Farewell My Friend after nearly 20 years in veterinary medicine to create a peaceful, more personal alternative to saying goodbye to your beloved pet. Instead of a clinical setting, families are welcomed into a home-like space with couches, beds, and warm, inviting rooms—created to offer comfort and dignity during one of life’s most difficult goodbyes. Alongside this setting, families can choose meaningful memorials—such as handcrafted urns, keepsake jewelry, or commemorative artwork—to honor their pet’s life. Director Eleanor Soule helps guide each family with compassion, drawing on her lifelong love of animals to ensure no one walks this path alone.
